"My time in Japan was way more than just hitting the books. From working on my AI projects in Saitoh Sensei’s lab at Kyushu Institute of Technology (KYUTECH), I learned a lot about research and the local academic culture. But I knew I wanted to experience life beyond the computer screens and the laboratory walls. So, I decided to step out of my comfort zone by joining the Aikido, sports, and juggling clubs. Every day was an adventure. I’ll always appreciate how the local students tried their best to connect with me despite the language barrier. Wandering around the city and making memories with them created bonds that are definitely going to stick with me. This Student Exchange Program was truly an unforgettable chapter!"

"Studying in Japan has always been one of my dreams, and joining the exchange program as a research student at Kyushu Institute of Technology made it come true. In Prof. Kazuhiro Takemoto’s lab I gained a lot of new knowledge, research experience, and insights into Japanese academic culture. "During this program, i was given the chance to experience a whole new studying environment, where i get to establish international connections by networking with the students abroad, whilst conducting my research under the lab of Tanaka Kazuaki's robotic lab in Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. Outside of studies, i get the chance to explore the places in Japan and also go out with the friends i've made during my time in Japan to form a closer bond and create unforgettable memories with them together. It was truly a priceless and memorable experience for me, and i wish i could go back and experience all the moments again."

"Through this program, I gained a highly valuable experience and learned a great deal about how to adapt and survive in Japan. The student exchange program was not merely about traveling, but about fulfilling my responsibilities as a FIKOM student by conducting research in a laboratory at Kyushu Institute of Technology (KYUTECH) through discussions with my supervisor (Saitoh Sensei) and laboratory members. This experience enhanced my academic knowledge, research skills, presentation abilities, and communication skills. In addition, I developed cross-cultural understanding not only from Japan but also through interactions with international students from various countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, China, and others. This experience continues to motivate me to grow, contribute, and bring positive impact to myself and those around me."

"During this program, I gained a lot of experiences. From culture shock, research culture, diversity, living as a Muslim in a non-Muslim country, trying new foods and lifestyles, and many more that I cannot express. I hope that after participating in this activity, the experiences I have gained will serve as valuable lessons for my future. My advice to you is that you must and should participate in this program. You will gain experiences you will never forget. I would give it a score of 11/10."
